Common Questions About Our Programs

A. SICS is a manual technique and a strong starting point for building surgical fundamentals. Phaco is a more advanced, ultrasound-based technique performed using modern machines. Most surgeons build their SICS skills first, then move on to Phaco.
A. Yes. Both the SICS and Phaco fellowships are open to foreign nationals, with a separate fee structure in USD.
A. No. Accommodation and food are arranged separately and are not part of the course fee. Full details are shared in our logistics document once your application is confirmed.
A. Yes. Every fellow who completes the SICS or Phaco program receives a certificate of completion.
A. Candidates who have completed 3 years, or the 6th semester, of a B.Optom degree can apply.
